This Greek yogurt fruit dip recipe is great for those of us who are looking for ways to add more protein in our diets.

What a delicious way to consume protein while indulging in the natural creaminess and sweetness of this Greek yogurt fruit dip!

With so many Greek yogurt brands out there, I recommend one that is:
  • Plain and Unsweetened – most yogurts we find at grocery stores are flavored and sweetened. They may contain a significant amount of sugar and artificial flavors. In this recipe we use pure vanilla extract to add flavor and organic maple syrup to add sweetness, these are much healthier options for us!
  • Organic and 100% Grass Fed – Greek yogurt made with whole milk from gras-fed cows contains higher omega-3 fatty acids. FYI: “100% grass-fed” is the same as “grass-fed, grass-finished”

My favorite brand is Stonyfield Organic Greek 100% Grassfed Yogurt

All about the other ingredients:
  • Pure Vanilla Extract – this ingredient is essential for flavoring this dip, but I highly recommend to go for the real thing and not the imitation. Grocery stores carry both. Pure vanilla extract is more expensive but it contains natural vanilla. Where as, Imitation Vanilla flavor is made with chemicals, artificial colors, and flavors.
  • Organic 100% Pure Maple Syrup, (amber color or lighter) – it’s an awesome ingredient for sweetening recipes! It’s made from the sap of maple trees. It’s rich in antioxidants, making it a much healthier option than refined sugar.

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups plain Greek yogurt Organic, 100% Grass-Fed
  • â…“ cup maple syrup organic, amber color
  • 1 ½ tsp. pure vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • In a blender add all ingredients and blend until smooth and creamy.
  • Pour dip in a serving bowl.
  • Dip in your favorite fresh fruit and enjoy!
